Just wanted everyone to be aware that a home (no one was home at the time) was broken into a couple of weeks ago in Woodhaven. A neighbor who had been watching the house for the owners noticed that there was unusual activity on an early Sunday morning and called the police. The police arrived but the suspects got away with the police following as they traveled west on Hwy 86 and turned north on Hwy 83. The police broke off the chase when the suspects proceeded to travel at very high speeds on the narrow section of Hwy 83. Although the police were given the license plate number by the neighbor, it was later determined that the vehicle was stolen and the police are still looking for the suspects. Please, let’s all help our neighbors, and be aware of the comings, goings and unusual activities in our neighborhoods!
